Our Co Founder Basil Eastwood introduces this special issue, and recounts the incredible journey Cecily's Fund has made.
We also meet Beatrice Chola who gave up her job as a nurse to dedicate her life to helping communities fight AIDs, and help children caught up in the epidemic get the support they needed. Beatrice set up BISO and a small community school where traumatised children could find rest and hope. Cecily’s Fund and BISO have been working together since the 2000’s.
