This gift pays for two peer health educators – selected from among young people we have supported through school - to run regular weekly sessions over a month for 140 school children. They are trained to run lively, creative sessions that help raise school children’s understanding of HIV. This helps reduce stigma and teaches children how to keep themselves and others healthy and safe.

This gift pays for one of our school-leavers to complete one year of a three-year teacher training course. It includes all fees and a living allowance. Orphans who become qualified teachers can get secure government jobs and become positive role models for orphans in their classes.
