This summer Diva Opera will perform Verdi's Falstaff, in the intimate setting of a marquee in the grounds of one of Britain's most gracious country houses - Wotton House, near Brill in Buckinghamshire, once the home of the Dukes of Buckingham.
In addition to the performance, the evening includes tea on arrival, champagne at the interval and a full three course dinner with wine and coffee. Alternatively, guests may bring their own picnic to enjoy in the sunken garden or in the marquee.
Stephen Pritchard of the Observer wrote of last year’s performance of Cosi Fan Tutte;
“It requires nerves of steel to sing in such an intimate manner; each expression and gesture is under the microscope. Only the best voices can stand up to this close-quarter action. Thankfully, Diva Opera cast with taste and precision.
“There was singing of real quality here … this is a production to be warmly applauded.”

Media
The Opera offers sumptuous picture opportunities and several interesting story angles; as well as the exquisite musical performance by a top British opera company, there is also the heartwarming story of how Cecily's parents turned personal tragedy into hope for thousands of orphans. And, of course, there are the stories of the orphans themselves, who have been given the opportunity to get an education.
